Missions

"The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers." I Corinthians 3:8,9a

Tate Baptist Church has always been a mission-minded church. Both through giving to missions around the world and personal involvement in missions projects, our goal is to be faithful in sharing the message of Jesus Christ.

WOM: Women on Mission groups meet monthly to learn about missions, pray for and give to missions, grow spiritually, participate in the work of the church and the denomination, and do ministry and witnessing projects.
GA's and RA's: Girls in Action and Royal Ambassadors are the missions programs we provide for boys and girls grades 1-6. Plenty of activities are planned year round to make our missions program an exciting learning time for our children.
Mission Friends: This program teaches early missions awareness for children ages two through five. The children meet every Wednesday at 6pm in the preschool area.
Whether by giving to International Missions, giving to North American Missions, or participating locally in Backyard Bible Clubs, People Sharing Jesus weekend seminars, or the nitty-gritty of construction jobs for needy families, our goal at Tate is to show Christ's love to our community and to the world abroad.
